Hanoverian stallion auction: My faves

As if we haven't seen enough primo horseflesh, the Hanoverian Stallion Auction catalog is online. These stallion prospects are only two years old! My picks...

  1. Kind of like being on a strict diet in a candy store...

Beautiful horses again. I can only dream, but hey, as far as I'm concerned, all my Boys move like that. I know as long as I'm in my arena at home, they win all the championship classes. *G*

  3. off topic but I would love to ask your advise about something :)

What do you think about Holsteiners? I am going to look at one for a friend and honestly know nothing about the different breeds of warmbloods. I know it is a bit of a broad topic but I just wanted to know your general impression of them.

  4. My husband is a sucker for Weltmeyer. He worked with several Weltmeyer babies, when he was a working student in IL several years ago... They are HUGE, I can't believe that they are two year olds! That's insane!

So, when are you going to buy me one of those stallions, Stacy? :)

  5. When I acquire my own brass set! I'm a big chicken about handling horses that are "entire." I've handled a few and they had my number right away, I recall being dragged around the farm by one fairly mellow stallion that I handled on occasion in a previous barn job.

  6. I'm in love with the Chacco Blue x Stakkato. Beautiful horses all, though.

  7. Once again you have wowed me with the beautiful horses you find. Number 50, a big, handsome, chestnut, dripping with chrome, I just melt.
So true Stacey, stallions will get someone's number quickly, learned that working on TB breeding farm. I had to grow some on day one to keep from getting dragged, bitten, or kicked. In the end once you got their respect they were big babies. :0P
