Black Friday, black humor, black shoes

Thanks dressageesquire.blogspot.com for finding and sharing this).

During this season of giving, I'm here to help with a shopping quandry. Is there someone you like but don't like? Do you sometimes have cheerful, smiling conversations that deeply annoy you? You, my dear, have a frenemy.

A gift for the barn frenemy
Here's a gift (pictured right) no one is likely to already have. What could be more perfect frenemy gift than something that's:

  • uncomfortable
  • not attractive
  • not functional?
This is the first of  a series of holiday-inspired articles on gifts for the barn frenemy.

  1. Hahaha... I love his post. "Do you often have cheerful, smilimg conversations that deeply annoy u"? And later can cause small amounts of hypertension? The barn frenemy....

  2. ...I thought the fake breeches and tall boots were bad enough. I showed this photo to a friend, who said, "I think she's a bit species confused." To which I replied, "Not only that, but they're on upside down!"

Oh, some of these accessories are painful to look at. But I do appreciate you sharing, LOL!

    Happy Thanksgiving!

  4. Oh, NTAT, thank you! I'm not the only one who noticed they were upside down! I feel a bit better.

No barn frenemies here: my barn, I kick 'em out. I'm too old for that manure.

Still, I'm gonna love these gift suggestions and I can hardly wait for the next one!

  5. Very funny. Heaven knows what the fashion statement they are making is, but it surely doesn't look too appealing to me.

    Thanks for the laugh! *G*

  6. It looks like it puts her ankle/calf in a really weird position. Almost like she is tilting forward, I would be afraid of tripping, there is nothing keeping her from falling on her face. I have work frenemies, they are getting nothing from me. lol
