Chubby, cute, creme-colored, charismatic!

I have a real nougaty soft spot for this type of horse, and all of his chubby cuteness. Look at the slack in those reins. Bring him to me! Not to be crass, but--what do you think a horse like that would go for? Guesses?

  1. What a cutie! I checked their website and he's in the "über 50,000 Euro" category but no specific price. That's only $67K+!

  2. Cute! My six year old son watched the video with me. His comment: "Now THAT'S a fancy pantsy horse!" LOL!! :)

  3. He is cute. I'd like to see his hind leg a little more naturally "under" him as his hock tends to be a little out behind in the passage, but that's his conformation and his training looks quite correct.

If he's around $67K as noted in the comments, I guess that's a bargain in this day and age. Way out of my price range!! *G* But he surely does look like he has a nice attitude and definitely the upper level training.

I do like "horses of a different color" for dressage. It's another way of brightening up the arena and making them look.

(Does dressage, too, not trained nearly as far, and not as baroque.)

  5. I love this guy and I have a special love for spots. That being said, why do people angle the photos of the extended trot? Do they think we can't see the terribly angled horizon behind the horse?

  8. Hmm . . . I guess maybe my comment didn't make it through. I don't remember what I said except that he's a cutie!

I did watch the video again though and his walk looks . . . weird. Is that just the way he moves or does he look a little off? Maybe I'm just seeing things. Anyway he's a cutie. I don't know where you find these videos but thanks for sharing. :D

  9. Nice horse!
Weird hocks though.. I would have guessed 40K, 65 seems a titch high, but then again I'm not in the 'dressage only' world, but the eventing one so I have no idea how dressage horses are priced.

  11. He's handsome. I love horses that look like big ponies. (In my eye, that's all the baroque horses!) I'm a bit surprised at the price. I must be very out of the loop.

Am I the only one who looks at his movement and thinks "not a comfortable ride"? Love his self-carriage, energy and the personality that shines through. What a delight.

(btw, not being sarcastic, please educate me on the movement if I'm missing something!)
