Psst! Quaterback passes it on. Pass it on!

If anyone was doubting that Quaterback can pass on his best traits, I think this two year-old stallion prospect is yet another data point that suggests Quaterback is going to be a great stallion. The pairing with Rohdiamant is genius. Wowie!

  5. What a mover! Quaterback does seem to pass it on. That's the sign of a really good stallion.

  6. Why when they chose stills did they choose to only use those with the inside front foot forward? Wouldn't the emphasis be on the inside hind coming under himself to impress the dressage buyers (natural reach...)? Just wondering and it kind of stuck out to me at the end of the video.

  8. Emily -

Two reasons I can come up with. 1, the hind end looks more pointy and less developed on the side with the hind leg forward - showing the leg back plumps it up.
2, his shoulder has quite a bit of movement in it. I would guess the shots of the side with his front leg back look like he has straight shoulders, and the ones with the leg forward his shoulders look great plus you see the movement of his elbow, showing he's moving more than just the legs as he reaches forward.
