This foal's personality just seems to bubble over -- and I love the mom. I don't know if it is a good sign for the future or just the level of excitement but see how he sits down on those legs when he gets excited? Is that a baby passage? Overall I'm not wowed with the Totilas babies I've seen, but this one has a certain je ne sais quoi. Am I right?
If you watch this all the way through you might see a future for him in cutting/reining/barreling.

Good heavens, what a mess the handlers are having trying to show Mom and baby! I can see why it takes professionals to do it. I'd be trompled all over if I were in there!
ReplyDeleteThe foal is really cute and I love how in the first video, he's passageing, "foal style." Looks to be a feisty kid, that's for sure.
Well, talk about cute--I had to turn off the "music" for the first video, but the baby does "sit down" and is sure full of himself. Loved the second video where he walked under his mother. Could hardly get through ;o) I also agree with you about the Totilas foals. I don't really care for the sire, but this baby is adorable.
ReplyDeleteI'm kind of thinking a lot of his niceness comes from his mom! Look at her lovely trot. She sits down a fair bit on her haunches, too.
