Scented tack soap -- it's about time!

I was able to test this at Devon -- it's wonderful stuff. It smells great, it's the right consistency (not too thick or runny), and it feels gentle. I lingered for a long time near the test soaps, trying to decide if I should buy soap when I have a lot of unused soap at home. In a rare moment of frugality, I chose not to buy right then. But the citrus/basil scent is in my future...

  1. They've had this at HorseTech for as long as I can remember - it's in their custom products section.

  2. My local tack shop started carrying these several months ago. A couple people at my barn use them and love them, but when I went through the different scents at the store they just didn't hit it off with me. Guess I'm just a major fan of the traditional leather smell. :P

  3. I definitely prefer the traditional leather soap smell and I suspect my horse does too. When it comes to things I put on the horse I think more what he would like to smell, not me.

  4. Sort of off topic but cute horsie stuff....Burt's Bee's makes some moisturizers with carrot oil. It works very nicely and has a wonderful scent. When I use it, the horses love to lick my hands! They smell it from a distance and come running like I have a treat.
