This is a cute gimmick -- kudos to this family for taking their show to the next level with this amiable and clever horse! I like to see horses doing well at anything. A cynic might find it exploitive but I say, show me a horse with a talent, and I'll show you a horse that will always have a home. It's like the pig in Charlotte's Web -- he he's "some pig," this is "some horse!" Also it seems like a nice, loving family, a total win-win.
Except, maybe, for the competition.

That's a lucky horse. She gets lots of friendly attention and grooming and easy work.
