The horsey pee-pee problem: Equine incontience aid

God love the Harvster. Miss you madly bud.

Since I have posted about Harv's problem of urinary incontinence in the last 18 months of his life, numerous people have contacted me. It's a rare problem but when people google, my blog comes up. It has been great to connect with these folks and tell them of my experience, things that worked for me.

Recently I found this item online -- Fetlock cordura boots.

They look pretty stiff and they look like they let air into the fetlock area. They might be good for protecting the lower leg. At $25 it's probably worth a try.

To those of you who have a horse with Harv's urinary incontinence problem -- if you try it let me know how it goes!

  1. Hmm. I'll have to look into them. Irish's legs are awful.

  2. It just goes to show there is an invention for everything. Most people I know have that problem themselves, lol.
