New boots have not made me a better rider (darn it!) but I've kind of given up on dressage boots, at least my petries, which are painful around the ankle and they are not as high in the leg as my raphaels. I have read exactly what you have read on dressage boots and I'm totally turned off the stiff boot now. Have you noticed any huge difference in your riding or the horse's response with the softer boot? I generally ride in Petries, but they destroy the backs of my knees on the days when I have to get on one of the hunters (gotta love the shorter stirrups for that), so I have been browsing for softer boots. Conversely if the Raphaels feel a bit too tight, the Donatellos in the same size may be more comfortable. I did not find much difference in the comfort of the boots -- I've had field boots and was always so Stacey Kimmel-Smithhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/08498926535389535263noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6317822193674196694.post-15410249700185317282013-05-14T16:14:11.393-04:002013-05-14T16:14:11.393-04:00Gorgeous - and I am jealous of your skinny legs!Gorgeous - and I am jealous of your skinny legs!Michellehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/01550786937196525098noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6317822193674196694.post-84350245917946792202013-05-14T15:55:31.604-04:002013-05-14T15:55:31.604-04:00Those look AMAZING!!! Haven't tried them on yet but I bet anything they will fit (and unlike you, height is not the issue). They totally look custom, yay for you!RiderWriterhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/05679157278313699794noreply@blogger.com
