How Harv sees me...

Remember the eye photo I took back in December? I did a "zoom in" in Photoshop, and look, there I am.
Harv is having a pretty good winter. I bought two nice bales of alfalfa and he and Riley get a flake each night. The other day a friend stopped by to pick up a saddle she'd loaned me. We talked for a bit, and I was standing by Harv's stall. Harv is not normally an affectionate horse, but as I chatted with my friend he rested his chin on my shoulder. It was such a great feeling.

    Aw! How sweet! And how good you are to the boys.

    I remember sitting in the barn with Pepper, sharing my lunch with him while he leaned over the chain across his open stall door. Those are always the best kind of times!

    Love the photo and the moment with his chin on your shoulder. As they get older, everything seems more special.

    I do not think it anthropomorphous to say that horses can love. For all you have done for him, Harv loves you.

    I love this photo. We just got a bunny and all he sees of me are my pink crocs. If he didn't poop everywhere he'd see my sock feet.
