Curse of the chestnut mare: Ulla Salzgeber at World Dressage Masters

You can see it was windy, and it was just not her day. But Ulla shows us how to handle a spooky horse...

  1. Wow! She handled that perfectly. Not only professional, but very understanding of her horse. A true horsewoman.

  2. Apparently I am a big baby because that made me tear up! She was so calm and just sat like a rock with such nice soft arms. I will try to remember her composure the next time my chestnut acts like a red head!

  3. I wonder what had her mare so boogified? Discretion is the better part of valor. She must had known it was a no go.

  5. Oh dear, I wonder what was up? Oh no, the dressage numbers have FLOWERS on them! I'm sure she's never seen anything like that before :)

Ulla did a beautiful job handling her though!

  6. Such a shame, but brilliantly handled! I always worry that my pony will do that to me one day. :P
