Pretty cute, and I love how forward Rusty is!

Thanks to Eliza Sydnor for sharing this.

  3. How adorable. Kid has a nice leg! Thanks for posting a NICE pony video, it seems like I've all seen lately were the naughty ones. :-)Bet Rusty is worth a million bucks to that family.

  4. Well done and a very sweet pony.
Actually, I even like the naughty pony videos. The ponies seem like good ponies, they get away with some behaviors due to lack of discipline or a rider who is not ready for that particular pony. There haven't been any mean ponies.
I bet even Rusty has done "naughty pony" stuff in his time.

  7. What a great video clip. I think the little rider's legs are glued onto the saddle. They hardly move. I also found it interesting that even in a pony saddle, her feet barely came below the flaps!
I'm glad they shortened the ring or the pony might still be trying to finish the ride!

  8. Hey! That's my husband's name on your blog! :)

He took photos of Dylan and Rusty while he and my daughter were volunteering at the dressage show.

They are adorable. Eliza Sydnor is the trainer, so this little girl is getting the right start in dressage.

  9. OMG!!! Where was that pony when I was first learning to ride? Shetlands can be awfully wilful, but that little fellow really puts some effort in. Love it!

  11. Hi Billie, The dressage trainer who posted it on FB said I could use it if I credited the photographer, hope that's okay. Amazing picture!

  12. Stacey, he gave the photos he took (there are an entire series of them) to Eliza and/or Dylan's mom and said they could use them however they wished if they would give him photo credit, so thank you for doing that! I noticed that Dressage Daily didn't give him credit and used the entire series, but that's about what I expect from DD. I emailed them to let them know.

  13. Adorable itty bitty fuzzy, fat pony and darling little girl. She's rides well already and on such a willing little beast, too!
