Meghan O'Donoghue and Pirate Dressage warmup

Meghan O'Donaoghue and Pirate were written up in the Chronicle of the Horse in the eventing issue, and she has a great story. She's from Illinois and comes from the Do It Yourself school of eventing. Her thoroughbred Pirate was a candidate for the slaughter house (although she didn't know it when her family bought him). I believe she was 15 years old when Pirate became her eventing mount. She trained him from a youngster. It's the kind of story you love to read and she is doing well at Rolex! I took these photos...
