Harvey at sunset

When I got home from Rolex ( four days away!) this is the welcome sight that greeted me. So glad to see Harv.
Harv got to go out in the big spring pasture a few days ago, and he ran around a bit. Maybe it's just been a long time since he has cantered -- but the gait was very much an "egg beater" motion, and pacey. It caught my breath a little, and I hope has he gets to stretch his legs more he'll get stronger again...

  1. He is still so beautiful. Glad you still get to have nice moments like this with him, even if he doesn't have the lovely canter he used to. I hope I get as much time with my guy!

  2. He's probably just out of condition from the winter. I'm sure he'd enjoy any light hacks or lunging you have time for....even (especially) older horses like having small jobs, and it keeps their condition up. He's such a lovely horse!
