VOTE FOR SHERI: The five/five countdown challenge

It's only five days till the end of the Purina Live from Lexington contest. Here's the challenge for BTB readers. It's an honor system challenge.

If you leave a comment with a pledge to get Sheri at least 5 votes a day for the last 5 days for Sheri -- total 25 votes -- you'll be entered in a contest to win one of five magnetic bumper stickers that say "Horses get great grass mileage." It's a $12 value, and believe me people love these. I've had a few stolen right from the bumper of my car. Scoundrels!  Anyway, here's how to enter, step by step:
  1. Leave a comment with your pledge and your name and/or email.
  2. Starting today through July 12, either find five computers to vote from, or clear the cache/cookies from your browser to vote five times on the same computer, or coerce 4 friends to vote for Sheri in addition to your own vote. Bottom line: Get Sheri 5 votes/day for five days.
  3. Check back on the 14th-15th to see if you won. If you leave an email address in the comment, I'll email you if you win.
Of course it bears repeating...
    Vote for Sheri Israel!
    Go to livefromlexington.com and vote.

    2. no need to reward me for voting, she deserves to go, she is working SO much harder than the other contestants, I have been voting 5 times a day and getting my 3 co-workers to vote as well, that is 20 votes a day from us.

    6. Hi jacksonsgrrl, Have you looked at the Sheri's great 8 series on the eight disciplines? She has made appts with folks competing in these disciplines, visited them, taken a stab at disciplines that are new to her (vaulting, endurance, reining, etc) as well as dressage (forthcoming), and produced a video report for each. That to me, is busting one's keister for a chance at going to the Games. That makes her unique among the semi-finalists IMHO. Thanks fer askin!

    7. Sheri is doing a great job and you can tell how much effort she is putting into her blog...All while balancing work and a family!

I think Nina and Kristine are putting in effort too all while balancing their own demanding schedules.

What it comes down to is purely the appeal of writing style. It's going to be close!

    8. It's been pretty grueling for the semi-finalists, I suspect, but I have truly enjoyed reading about WEG and all of the different perspectives.
