You're darn tootin' we cantered!
For about three strides, then we broke to trot.
Thinking that taut inside rein may have said "whoa" to Ri, who looks attentive and obedient.

Holy mackerel! He is one solid ball of muscle!
ReplyDeleteI love pictures like these that really exemplify the word "round." Great job you two!
ReplyDeleteI love how round he looks! It's all there. You just have to convince yourself and Riley that you WILL do it all the way around.
ReplyDeleteThat photographer caught you at some good moments in the stride too. Nice.
One of the hardest things for me is trusting I can give up that inside rein.
ReplyDeleteI'm marveling at the very very long way you've come. From hoof surgery to trotting down the centerline: there are you and Riley; relaxed, happy to be on the bit, round, and in full dressage mode. I refuse to notice anything you declare imperfect :) you never gave up.
ReplyDeleteHis love and trust in you shows, big time.
BRAVO!
