Akhal Teke Stallion Oyun Shael

Couldn't resist just one more Akhal Teke video. This boy looks like he has a great work ethic. He isn't what you'd call short-backed but his gaits are lovely, and he is doing some pretty advanced work without laboring. Love the work ethic, too -- through these fairly long, intense sessions he maintains his concentration and looks to be enjoying himself. Horse and rider make a pleasant picture, don't they?

  1. Wonder if having a good work ethic is a breed characteristic. All the horses you've posted seem to have similar willing temperaments.

  2. Again with the tail ... wow. I mean wow. It's so distracting I cannot even pay attention to the rest of this beautiful creature (I swear, I am not trying to be bad). Must be something in that "Shael" name b/c the last one you posted was doing the same thing). This one is literally doing the "propeller" swish ...

  3. Of the Akhal Teke videos, I liked the first one the best. Both rider and horse were really beautiful to watch. This horse appears to be doing a four beat canter, maybe his long back is a problem. And the tail wringing is really distracting.
