Thoroughbred comeback? I hope so

I am hearing/reading about a thoroughbred comeback. I hope it is true, and this is a breed that deserves a popularity surge. As yet, though, I have not seen that much evidence of a resurgence in the dressage ring -- there are many thoroughbred shows now, and makeovers, and people promoting Thoroughbreds -- maybe this will help to bring them back.

This Bernie Traurig video is more history than promo, but it's way cool to revisit the history of equestrian sports when thoroughbreds were so appreciated. They seem to be breeding them differently back then, too, bigger-boned, rangier, with a conformation for any discipline...
