GypsyX Haflinger For Sale

This little guy has "stinker" written all over him (for experienced rider, it says), and Haflingers are smart smart smart. If warning bells are going off, I still love the look of him. A very cool project for someone, and potentially a big payoff. He's the size/type I'm looking for, except already trained and reliable ;-).

  1. Got my behind handed to me a couple years ago by an overweight, sassy haffy. He was ticked off that I didn't want to canter. I thought he was too fat to cause me much trouble. Thought I wouldn't walk right again for several weeks. Twist, drop and buck. I have never been bucked off like that, in 30 years of riding. This guy has that same body, and is smug and STRONG. Nopers.

  2. Really cute pony. I agree on the trained and reliable though...

  3. Eldest rode the local Haflinger for a few lessons when her regular ride was recovering from an injury. The strength he has in his neck is staggering. You can't force that head anywhere with just your hands. You have to move the whole horse with your seat, legs and body. When he spooked, the pair of them were halfway down the arena before anyone knew what was up. Strong, fast and not easy to handle - not at all what their stocky, fuzzy form suggests!

  4. Love my haflingers, but they are not always the easiest horses. Wish I could snatch this little fellow up! Just my type!
